Fashion Week SS18: The Best Blogger Street Style Looks

Following on from London and Paris Fashion Weeks, we explore the best street style moments brought to us by some of our favourite bloggers. Featuring key looks from Anisa Sojka, Rasa Virviciute and Katherine Ormerod, we take a closer look at what they wore to the fashion events of the season, and delve deeper into the biggest trends of the moment.

Anisa Sojka

Joanna Velvet Print Top, £79 | Tilly Printed Velvet Skirt, £69 | Vivian Velvet Court Shoes, £55

Anisa Sojka followed her own style rules with the eye-catching ensemble she wore at London Fashion Week SS18. Staying in line with this season’s berry-hued colour palette, the fashion and lifestyle blogger teamed a black floral-print top with a paisley midi skirt and vintage-style court shoes, all crafted from plush velvet.  The final touch? A faux fur stole, of course.

Anisa says: “I have always loved playing around with mixing and matching print. Once I spotted this floral top and paisley skirt, I knew it was a velvet match made in heaven.”

Rasa Virviciute

Stasia Star Velvet Jacket, £99

Rasa Virviciute showed us that monochrome styling is here to stay with her effortlessly cool look for Paris Fashion Week SS18. Dressed in a simple white tee and black skinny jeans, the fashion blogger made an embellished black velvet jacket the pièce de résistance of the whole look. Over-the-knee boots in soft black leather added an extra touch of chic.

Rasa says: “I chose this outfit because it makes me feel perfectly Parisian – simple and classic, but with a touch of glam.”

Katherine Ormerod

Hermione Velvet Cape, £199 | Kimberley Print Dress, £69

Katherine Ormerod made a case for modern bohemia in a purple paisley-print dress with ruffle detailing and a high-low hemline. The fashion journalist and content consultant brought added an extra sense of drama to her look with a longline black velvet cape, delicately adorned with embroidered patterns.

Katherine says: “Fashion Week is all about drama – and what could be more theatrical than a beautifully embroidered velvet cape? It’s also just the thing for dealing with that in-between weather.”
