What to wear to Wimbledon

Heading to Wimbledon? Before you grab your sun hat and strawberries, let’s talk about the dress code. We all known about the iconic tennis whites for players, but what should spectators wear? Read on for all the inspiration you need.

When is Wimbledon?

The tournament takes place annually, typically spanning two weeks. This year Wimbledon is on Monday 3rd July 2023 to Sunday 16th July 2023 – a little later than usual. If you can’t make it courtside there is always the option to catch the tournament on a big screen somewhere outdoors or from the comfort of your own home.

What is the Wimbledon dress code?

As a spectator, you have some flexibility, think classic and tailored. Be it a dress, a skirt or a suit, think smart and summery. Learning from some of the best dressed at Wimbledon, go on-theme with white, green, purple of blue outfits in breathable fabrics – and make sure you layer, it is the Great British summer after all!

Outfit ideas to ace your style game at Wimbledon

Not sure where to start? We’ve curated a collection of Wimbledon outfit ideas you’ll wear all-summer long.

A classic dress

Embrace the Wimbledon spirit with this beautiful blue print shirt dress, which combines a lovely flowy fabric with a smart structured silhouette (and the sleeves provide perfect coverage come rain or shine).  To complete the look, pair it with our blue suede block heels, resin hoop earrings and big sunglasses – and you’ve got yourself a Middleton sister inspired look.

Tennis whites

If the temperature’s rising courtside, opt for this ivory broderie dress accessorised with our quilted cross-body bag and our strappy block heel sandals. You’ll fit right in with the colour theme – and if you loved Sienna Miller’s Wimbledon look last year, just team with a contrast black belt and red lip.

Tailored perfection

If dresses aren’t your thing, go for an Alexa Chung inspired look with our linen blend tailored blazer and matching shorts. Pair it with a crisp white shirt and sunglasses for that finishing touch.

At Wimbledon, fashion is as much a part of the experience as the tennis itself. So have some fun with your styling and enjoy the people watching!
