The Monsoon Story

Born out of a passion for beautiful fabrics and exquisite clothing, Peter Simon began the Monsoon story in 1972 on a stall on Portobello Road. Growing from our first store opened in Beauchamp Place in 1973 to a current portfolio of over 400 Monsoon and Accessorize stores throughout the UK and Eire, across diverse product areas as Women’s, Men’s, Children’s and Home collections.

The Accessorize Story

The early 80’s saw the overwhelming success of our Accessories collection so much so that the brand Accessorize was founded. Opening in Covent Garden in 1984, the Accessorize brand has grown phenomenally and now has over 150 stand alone stores in the UK and over 400 internationally.

Internationally

Monsoon Accessorize truly is a global brand. With over 400 branches in 38 countries, we are represented on every continent across the world.

Our fantastic international success is due to the excellent relationships that we have built up with our Joint Venture Partners.

Many of them have worked with us for several years. Working together with our Partners, we offer our exquisite products that represent individuality, originality and strong global brand values. International is an area of major growth for us. As we continue to promote cross-cultural understanding, expanding organically across the globe, international development will no doubt remain an essential and inspiring area of our company.
