Everyone's been there – we've all had that dress or top which we've loved and worn and worn until we couldn't wear it anymore. So why not pass it on so someone else can love it too?
 In the UK alone, 900,000 tonnes of clothing are thrown away every year. We can't get our heads around that figure either! But with your help, we can start making that number smaller and use our old clothes and accessories to help others rather then have them clog up land-fills.

4 Simple steps
Step 1 - Bring along your old Monsoon garments to one of our stores in the UK.
Step 2 - As a thank you, we’ll give you £5 off any new Monsoon item worth over £30* (bargain!).
Step 3 – Your garments will be recycled or resold to someone who will really enjoy them.
Step 4 - The money made from these garments will go to Newlife (www.newlifecharity.co.uk) – a charity that helps disabled and terminally ill children in the UK

In other words, instead of becoming landfill your unwanted garment will be recycled or will go to someone who really wants it, the money will then go to someone who really needs it and you will get a little bit off the price of your new Monsoon clothes! So everyone's that little bit happier?

Why 'Clothes for Life' is important to us:
At Monsoon, as much as we care about fashion (and trust us, we care a lot!) we also care about the environment and people. Long before fair-trade became fashionable, we were working with small producer groups in India and setting up the Monsoon Accessorize Trust to help women and children in Asia.
While we may have grown into a global company with over 1000 stores, we remain committed to our heritage and bohemian roots. We're not perfect, but Clothes for Life isn't just a bit of 'green-wash'. Its part of the values that have been the backbone of our business since 1973.
